Project Management

Project Management helps you control a project from definition to delivery, keeping costs in check and maximizing revenue.

Bidding on large contracts is tempting because they bring in cash. But the competition can be fierce and so you end up cutting the margins fine. The skill is controlling your projects costs so that the margins don’t disappear altogether.

Project Management allows you to control the process from beginning to end:

  • Project definition and structure
  • Quotation
  • Planning and production
  • Budgets and cost control
  • Purchasing
  • Delivery invoicing

The software works equally well with small local schemes and enormous global projects: it is entirely scaleable. Any project can run across financial years and Project Manager will keep your books in order automatically.

Cost control

The budget is set when the project is defined and the margins are calculated to make your quote as competitive as possible. Project Management links each element to a cost code so you can see how it performs compared with the budget.

The software keeps track of changes: both changes in order quantities agreed with the customer and budget transfers between cost codes. Costs and cost controls are automatically calculated helping you manage the project to maximize revenue.

Project Management is a core function of Enterprise 6.0 suite designed to give giving you better control over the raising of purchase orders and invoices across a project.

An important part of IBS Project Management is its ability to follow-up elements within the project and review internally, or with your customer whether expectations were met.
