At BEA, IBS Bookmaster took its place in the Digital Zone and was also invited to deliver a presentation on Supply Chain Management in the Digital World, given by IBS Bookmaster’s Sales Director for the Americas, Oliver Holden. This presentation highlighted the specific approach required by publishers for maximizing efficiency and profitability when adding digital content to their product portfolios. It was well attended and the feedback was positive and inspiring.
Claire Peel, Marketing Manager for IBS Bookmaster, comments, “At BEA we saw a lot of visitors with genuine interest and active projects for systems replacement. The rapid rise of ebooks through the proliferation of content providers and reading devices has driven a real and compelling need to have business systems in place to handle the digital supply chain effectively. One of the most common questions we were being asked was around the measurement and tracking of ebook sales and this is exactly the type of complete solution Bookmaster delivers.”
She concludes, “BEA once again proved its credentials as one of the most international shows with visitors from all over the world coming to our booth. The interest we had and the specific nature of the questions we were being asked gives us a lot of confidence that our approach to the market is the right one and that our product roadmap fits with the core requirements in the industry today and going forward.”
