On September 28, more than 100 persons attended the IBS Customer Summit at Hotel Sheraton in Stockholm. It was a day full of activities, interesting presentations and networking.

IBS today and in the future

Stephen Thornton, Executive Vice President IBS Enterprise business, opened the customer conference and held a presentation about IBS today and in the future. The theme for the conference was “Creating Business Value” and a lot of new initiatives with focus on customer value were presented.

IBS Enterprise7 product launch

Mats Odmark, VP Product Development and Susanne Åsander, Business Product Manager, announced the general availability of the new release IBS Enterprise7. The new major release of the IBS Enterprise suite is designed and architected with business scalability in mind.  IBS Enterprise7 promises to be the only distribution management system a company needs regardless of size, location, reach or complexity. With more than 150 different and new areas of functionality, IBS Enterprise7 will help organizations scale their sales, markets, execution capabilities, and most importantly their efficiencies and control.  

Besides the new release of IBS Enterprise7, Mats Odmark presented both a functional and technology roadmap for IBS Enterprise.

Next generation warehouse and operations management

IBS Dynaman, an advanced warehouse and operations management solution that gives companies full control of their warehouse and distribution activities, was presented by Christof de Saedeleer from IBS in Belgium. This was the first time IBS Dynaman was presented for a broader audience in the Nordics, and the customers showed a lot of interest in the product.

New offerings, networking and inspiration

The afternoon was full of inspiration and networking. Renata Chlumska, a world acclaimed adventure athlete and the first Swedish woman to climb Mount Everest and bike “Around America Adventure, held an inspiring presentation with the underlying message “with the right preparation and a strong will everything is possible”.

All customers had the possibility to choose between different parallel presentations including some of IBS complete new offerings;

  • IBS CRM
  • IBS Distribution Intelligence
  • Cloud Computing from Iptor

In addition to this two interesting customer cases were presented by the Finnish pharmaceutical distributor Oriola Oy and the Norwegian electrical distribution company J.F Knudtzen A/S.

A lot of customers also took advantage of the “Let´s talk” session, where they had one-to-one meetings with IBS executives.
