Sonepar Nordic chooses IBS EnterprisePress Release 2006-12-21 IBS has signed an agreement with electrical wholesaler Sonepar Nordic. The contract means that Sonepar will implement IBS Enterprise including an industry-specific electrical wholesale module.
Sonepar is one of the largest electrical wholesalers in the world with a total turnover of Euro 7.7 billion, presence in 29 countries and more than 1200 branches.
Sonepar Nordics will join forces with IBS and other IBS customers within the electrical wholesale sector, to develop further functionality tailored for the industry. Advanced industry specific functionality in the area of dynamic pricing, rebates and supplier marketing support will be developed. General requirements on the system to be installed includes the ability to handle high transaction volumes in mission critical systems, managing over 250.000 different articles with high demands on fast and accurate deliveries.
