SALES MANAGER
As a sales manager, you will be organizing and leading a team of sales representatives who are responsible for selling IT infrastructure services and solutions.
Key tasks
- Translate the commercial strategy and objectives into action plans in order to ensure attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team
- Assist in development of action plans to penetrate new markets
- Accountable to drive profit and loss, budgeting and forecasting for the Sales Team and report same to manager
- Assist in development and implementation of marketing plans as needed
- Assist sales team in complex sales and closing, preparation of proposals and presentations
- Close cooperation with delivery team
- Responsible for further built-out of the team
- Establish a strong relationship with key customers, built out a network on C-level
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
- Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensure they are communicated and implemented within the team
Requirements
- 10 à 15 years’ working experience in a similar position with relevant and proven commercial experience in the ICT business
- Customer focused, quality minded
- Strong understanding of Belgian ICT market dynamics and requirements
- Proven leadership and ability to drive and motivate sales teams
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Able to communicate and act on all organizational levels
- Dynamic person, entrepreneur, committed to results
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Languages: Dutch, French, English.
