EMEA VP – Professional Services

Job Description

As the Vice President Professional Services in EMEA, the incumbent will be responsible for all Professional Services employees in EMEA across multiple locations. In addition the incumbent will also have responsibility for the revenue and margin targets for the IBS EMEA Professional Services group and ensure high customer satisfaction. He/she will work with the IBS sales community to support the expansion of our software footprint within existing customers, along with the acquisition of new customers.   .

Essential Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed agreed Professional Services revenue and margin targets and have complete P&L responsibility and authority;
  • Build and secure strong relationships with assigned customers to drive profitable PS revenues;
  • Establish referenceable customers;
  • Collaborate with other customer facing lines of business to optimise revenues and profit;
  • Develop and support profitable projects;
  • Build and execute account plans for accounts;
  • Drive adoption and compliance to agreed best practice Company processes and policy with the PS team;
  • Have people management responsibility for the Consulting Manager community, including recruitment, performance appraisals etc and show leadership in this area;
  • Attract, develop and retain the best Consulting Managers within the market;


Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Preferably educated to degree level or the equivalent with a business or IT qualification;
  • Solid understanding of ERP and warehouse software applications;
  • Proven track record of working at a senior level with project deployment methodologies;
  • Significant experience in pan-European customer management with a high degree of cultural sensitivity;
  • Ability to speak and write English well;
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills;
  • Proven experience in managing difficult situations to positive, win-win, conclusions;
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong verbal and written communication/ networking skills;
  • Strong leadership skills/ gravitas at a senior level;
  • Ability to analyze complex situations & quickly develop appropriate solutions;
  • Ability to create and excellent maintain personal relationships with customers as well as team members;
  • Excellent influencing skills;
  • Ability to travel within the EMEA region, up 65% of working time.
