Business Consultant Finance

Location: Belgium


As Business Consultant Finance at IBS you contribute to a profitable PS organization by providing and delivering first class services and support, based on competence in the IBS product portfolio and the understanding of the customer business requirements, thereby adding value to our customers.



  • Meet and exceed the agreed personal targets for the current fiscal year
  • Projects: Ensure profitable projects/assignments by following IBS process guidelines for development and implementation ( ICP)
  • Customer engagement: Ensure proper handling of all customers by acting professional in all contacts with our customers. The aim is that IBS is seen as a trusted advisor
  • Processes: Contribute and adopt to enhancements and of relevant IBS finance processes (AR, AP, GL, Cash Management, Costing, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting)
  • Personal Development: Continuously maintain and develop relevant personal and professional skills in order to best serve our customers
  • Organization: Act as “One IBS” in teams and projects by collaborating with and supporting colleagues
  • Administration: Adhere to all IBS administrative and internal policies
  • Project and/or assignment execution on ones area of expertise at any given customer project or customer assignment under the supervision of project manager
  • Execution of small assignment on individual basis for customers
  • Sub-project management in ICP projects, lead the customers appointed project team members as required
  • Lead the customers project team to an effective application solution delivering business performance improvement
  • Document Functional Design Reports

Knowledge requirements:

  • Business knowledge of Distribution industry
  • Have general knowledge in the Enterprise software application
  • Have specialist detailed knowledge in the financial modules / applications, including the link to distribution/logistics/operations functions
  • Have specialist detailed knowledge in your nominated processes and application areas
  • ERP implementation project execution knowledge
