Folsom, CA, January 25, 2012 – Another pharmaceutical distributor implements IBS Enterprise Distribution Software:
A pharmacists owned co-op, Mutual Drug is located in Durham, N.C. In July, Mutual Drug went live on IBS Enterprise after an exacting implementation. Because their business model requires total warehouse automation, IBS made 74 modifications and 11 interfaces for Mutual Drug that enabled NC Mutual to go live with little disruption to existing warehouse business processes. The customer is also using 9 EDI formats, automated and radio frequency receiving and replenishment.
What NCMD says:
“IBS Enterprise efficiencies ensures smooth interfaces and accuracy for our regulatory reporting. Additionally, all customer sales orders related to the ‘order desk’ or web portal are received electronically through the interfaces and/or EDI mappings.”
David Moody, Chief Executive Officer, North Carolina Mutual Drug
What IBS says:
“We are delighted that our Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply customers continue to maintain their industry leadership positions as they benefit from our industry specific applications.”
Baxter Nairon, GM IBS Americas, EVP and Head of Corporate Strategy, IBS AB
