Sales Executive – Wholesale Distribution

Job Description

A great opportunity for an energetic individual willing to drive the sales process for IBS through selling application software to both new logo and existing Enterprise Accounts across targeted industry sectors in Wholesale Distribution.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties

  • Solution Adviser, responsible for supporting the customer evaluation process, by understanding their business requirements and promoting the value proposition of IBS solutions
  • Analyse a prospect’s business requirements, through awareness and targeted questioning to bring the sale to final stage meeting and closure
  • Create new business opportunities, develop, and maintain existing relationships by identifying opportunities and selling additional IBS solutions within customer accounts
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client needs, requirements and expectations with regard to delivering team operations
  • Present solutions to customers by creating a strategic vision and delivering it in a focused and consultative manner
  • Provide input to product marketing and development with industry trends
  • Negotiate commercial arrangements with, and preparing proposals for customers
  • Conduct regular service review meetings with key customers

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years experience successfully selling complex Enterprise software solutions to mid-market segments
  • Strong verbal and written skills in the English language
  • Ability to develop a territory strategy to penetrate vertical markets
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding revenue quota, particularly in new logo sales
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and consultative skills, with the ability to deliver compelling presentations to customers
  • Ability in building strong relationships with customers, partners and management
  • Experience working with the IBM i platform and Cloud solutions, ideally including experience with or similar CRM systems
  • Experience working with technical and business consultants to develop a solution that matches a customer’s requirements
