Doug Braun

Doug Braun, CEO

Doug Braun joined as Chief Executive Officer in May of 2012.  Prior to IBS, his responsibilities included translating business needs into products that solve customers’ toughest supply chain problems in various top management roles in global product strategy and development, product management, hosting, and support at RedPrairie.  He led several business lines for key verticals, created the company’s SMB unit and was responsible for RedPrairie’s first SaaS supply chain offering. Braun served as one of four members of the RedPrairie operating committee and led operations in the Americas and EMEA. Braun holds a Master's Degree in International Business and a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Scott Brown

Scott Brown, EVP Global Cloud and Customer Support Services

Scott Brown joined IBS as Executive Vice President of Cloud and Customer Support Services in June of 2012. Prior to IBS, he served as Vice President of Global Operations for Macromatrix and Vice President of Global Hosting Services for RedPrairie. He also held leadership positions at Home Discovery, Radiant Systems and Hanco Systems. Scott received his Bachelors of Arts in Applied Behavioral Sciences at National Louis University.

Christian Paulsson

Christian Paulsson, COO

Christian Paulsson has been COO since June 2011. He has also been a Member of the Board of Directors for the company since 2008. Christian was previously Executive Vice President Corporate Development and M&A at IBS AB. Prior to joining IBS he was Managing Director and head of corporate finance of Lage Jonason AB and has also worked within corporate finance in Booz Allen & Hamilton, Alfred Berg Fondkommission AB, ABN Amro and Mangold Fondkommission AB. He holds a BBA from European University.

Fredrik Sandelin

Fredrik Sandelin, CFO and Head of HR

Fredrik Sandelin has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since March 2010 and Head of HR since July 2011. Fredrik joined IBS from A-Com, the largest independent communications services network, where he was CEO from 2002. Prior to this, Fredrik held the positions of Senior Vice President for Hilton International Nordic Region, CFO for Scandic Hotels and CFO for private equity company Ratos. Fredrik has a degree corresponding to Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics.

Stephen Thornton

Stephen Thornton, EVP EMEA Professional Services

Stephen Thornton serves as Executive Vice President of Professional Services for EMEA. This role includes global responsibility for professional services, associated project delivery and customer support. Stephen joined IBS as Senior Vice President Professional Services in July 2009. Prior to this he was a Senior VP of Professional Services EMEA for Lawson Software as well as senior IT management positions within Intentia AB and other manufacturing and services companies. Stephen is a qualified Accountant.

Hiten Varia

Hiten Varia, Executive VP and General Manager of APAC

Hiten Varia, an industry veteran known for creating world-class development organizations at top software companies, is Executive Vice President and General Manager of APAC.  Prior to his role at IBS, Hiten spent 17 years in executive leadership at i2 Technologies, now JDA, in leadership positions including Executive Vice President of Global Customer Operations and Chief Customer Officer, Executive Vice President of the Greater Asia Pacific Region, Executive Vice President of worldwide delivery and Vice President of Worldwide Development.  He also held management roles at EDS and Sylvex Cable in India and is Chairman and Founder of m9 Technology Solutions. He has an MS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Architecture and Software Design, from University of Kentucky, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Baroda, India.

Mike Verdeyen

Mike Verdeyen, CTO

Mike Verdeyen is the Chief Technology Officer responsible for IBS’ strategic technology roadmap and the engineering of its suite of software products.  Mike joined IBS in 2012 with over 20 years of enterprise software industry experience.  Prior to joining IBS, Mike spent 14 years at RedPrairie (now JDA software group) in a variety of technology leadership roles in the supply chain and retail product space.  Prior to RedPrairie, Mike contributed in a number of roles at McHugh Software, Software Architects Incorporated, Computer People Unlimited and Digital Equipment Corporation. Mike holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Pallab Chatterjee

Dr. Pallab Chatterjee

Dr. Pallab Chatterjee is Chairman of the Board and has been a Board Member of IBS since 2007. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, USA. Pallab has had several executive positions at Texas Instruments, including President Personal Productivity Products Group, Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Research and Development and Chief Technology Officer and most recently Chief Executive Officer at i2 Technologies Inc. He is independent of the company and its senior management.

Arvid Carlsen

Arvid Carlsen, has been a board member of IBS since 2011. He holds a Master of Bachelor’s degree from Thunderbird in USA. Arvid has been Executive Vice President for ABT/SBT/Exenel Industries in Saudi Arabia, Management Consultant with Nordic Management, Founding Partner of Enskilda Strategy, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Finance at Enskilda Securities and Managing Director and Chairman of Access Partners.

JT Treadwell

J.T. Treadwell

J.T. Treadwell has been a Board Member of IBS since 2011. He holds a dual Bachelor’s degree in Ethics, Politics & Economic History from Yale University. J.T. has worked as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, an Associate at Bessemer Venture Partners and as Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning at Qiva. He is currently a Managing Director at Symphony Technology Group, which he joined in 2003.

Other board assignments: J.T. currently serves on the Board of Directors of Teleca AB, Sigma3 Inc., ImpactRx Inc., Shopzilla Holdings LLC, and Symphony Advanced Media, Inc.

Christian Paulsson has been a board member of IBS since 2008. He holds a BBA from European University. Christian Paulsson is presently  COO at IBS AB. Christian was previously employed by Deccan Value Advisors and prior to that Managing Director of Lage Jonason AB. He has also worked within corporate finance at Booz Allen & Hamilton, Alfred Berg Fondkommission AB & ABN Amro and Mangold Fondkommission AB. He has also worked as controller in Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings and as Executive Vice President Corporate Development and M&A at IBS AB. Christian Paulsson is considered dependent in relation to the company and its senior management.

Other board assignments: Chairman of the Board in Cross Sportsware International AB and board member and chairman in numerous subsidiaries within the IBS Group.

Ulf Eriksson, Employee representative

Ulf Eriksson

Ulf Eriksson has been a board member of IBS since 2010. He has a Masters of Science degree in Industrial Economics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm, Sweden. His background includes 25 years of experience from Industri-Matematik International (IMI) and as a Senior Project Manager for IBS PS Nordics.

Bertrand Sciard

Bertrand Sciard

Bertrand Sciard, has been a board member of IBS since 2012. From 2007-2011, he was the CEO of Aldata and CEO of Intentia AB from 2004 to 2006. Prior to these two CEO positions, Bertrand was Senior Vice President of GEAC Computer Corporation Limited, where he was responsible for all operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia and Australia/New Zealand region; Managing Director of Europe JBA and President and Chief Executive Officer of Presys.  Bertrand also held various leadership roles at International Business Machines Corporation. 

 

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Aldata.

José Duarte

José Duarte

José Duarte has been a board member of IBS since 2012.  From January to May 2012, he was President of Global Services and a Corporate Officer of the SAP Group, where he was responsible for 15,000 professionals, more than $3.7bn€ in service revenues and over $6.5bn€ in maintenance revenues.  While at SAP, he also held other senior roles including Regional President for EMEA and Regional President for Latin America and the Caribbean.  José has a global track record of leading both large and small operations in emerging and mature markets while delivering consistent shareholder value and high customer satisfaction. Prior to SAP, he previously worked for Accenture for Unilever.
