| Warehouse and Inventory ManagementMaximise pick efficiency and accuracy. Optimise labour and minimise costs. IBS Bookmaster includes a fully integrated warehouse management system (WMS) that also incorporates the inventory management function.
Fully functional WMS
It is a fully functional warehouse management system that allows for the use of radio frequency (RF) technology, materials handling equipment and pick-to-light systems. It is functionally equivalent to ‘best-of-breed’ stand alone warehouse management systems and is a standard module in IBS Bookmaster.
Eliminate cost to interface with stand-alone WMS
Because the Warehouse and Inventory Management module is intrinsic to the core distribution system, no interfaces are required. This eliminates the significant effort and funds required interfacing with stand-alone WMS. It also removes the possibility of mismatched or duplicate data and contradictory business rules.
IBS Bookmaster’s WMS is economical to implement and maintain
IBS Bookmaster’s Warehouse and Inventory Management module is significantly easier and more economical to implement than a stand-alone WMS. It is also easier to maintain and support; has a lower total cost of ownership and provides a more rapid return on investment.

Control your entire warehouse operation
The Warehouse and Inventory Management module allows you to control your entire warehouse operation. Warehouse rules and structures are user-defined and allow management to define the business rules and to make changes quickly when desired.
Pick planning and flexible device definition increases efficiency of your resources and personnel, while automated replenishment ensures your stock is at the optimum level. Automated receipts and putaway allows you to track exactly where your stock is sitting in the warehouse. RF picking allows for the elimination of paper instructions, increases accuracy and work throughput.
Advanced features such as cubing will optimise labour time and minimise the need to utilise experienced pickers in busy times. Finally when goods are ready to be shipped IBS Bookmaster provides many features that will improve the speed and accuracy of order completion and despatch such as ASN’s and SCM’s when trading with major retailers.
