Haywood Vocational Opportunities signs software and services agreement with IBSNews & Events 2007-05-22 Haywood Vocational Opportunities (HVO)—a not-for-profit manufacturer and distributor of Medical Supplies—has signed a software and services agreement with IBS to install their world-leading Supply Chain Software suite, IBS Enterprise. The new system will include distribution, inventory management, financials, warehouse management, contract pricing and industrial manufacturing. “Haywood is excited to move forward with IBS Enterprise. As we were going through the evaluation process, we were presented with other software systems that weren’t as consistently strong as IBS,” states Robby Franklin, Distribution Director, Haywood Vocational Opportunities. “IBS Enterprise will allow us to track and manage customer orders with faster turnaround and much better accuracy. We also loved the idea of a simple, robust infrastructure with the IBM System i. The other platforms that we were presented with from other vendors would have required us to add personnel to manage the databases and infrastructure which is something our organization wanted to avoid.”
