Treston upgrades its ERP system to IBS EnterpriseNews & Events 2007-05-15 Treston, Finnish manufacturer of industrial furniture and storage systems, decided to continue its cooperation with IBS following an extensive survey and comparison of ERP suppliers. “We have a long history of cooperation with IBS, and are therefore familiar with each other’s ways of working. We also have a strong confidence in IBM iSeries server,” says Financial Manager Mari Virtanen from Treston.
Treston has been managing its distribution, storage, financial administration, production control and product structure with the help of IBS ASW system since 1999. The previous ERP system was also provided by IBS. The need to replace the software was identified two years ago, when Treston concluded that the ERP system should support business development regarding e.g. electronic data transmission and reporting.
IBS Enterprise was developed to improve company performance. The software enables companies to increase sales, reduce costs and investments, shorten response times, improve customer service and increase the efficiency of external and internal processes. In addition, IBS Enterprise supports fast decision-making.
The new ERP system is scheduled for introduction at the beginning of June.
