IBS provides ERP system for Sormat in Moscow

IBS will provide Sormat, a Finnish producer of fixings, with ASW software solutions for supply-chain management and financial control in Russia. Sormat’s assembly line in Moscow produces PFG anchors used as construction fixings.

Overseas sales account for 80 per cent of Sormat’s net sales of 25 million euros, and the company’s single largest market is Russia.

There is a lot of growth potential in Russia, as the country’s construction industry is growing rapidly. According to Ilkka Mikkonen, Vice President IBS Nordics and General Manager Russia & Baltic States, Finnish companies are now clearly seeking growth from Russia. ”Russia is a strategically important market for us. We are confident that the trend will continue. We at IBS are capable of meeting this demand with a fully localized system tailor-made for the Russian market.”

The ASW ERP system, developed by IBS, helps companies increase the efficiency of their operations and automate routine-like processes. The product line consists of several integrated applications designed for various business needs. The delivery is currently in the pre-study phase.
