IBS in cooperation with ScaniaNews & Events 2006-08-25 IBS – a leading provider of supply chain management solutions – has signed an agreement with Scania – a world-leading manufacturer of trucks and buses. IBS has developed an order system, IBS CockPit, which is integrated with Scania’s truck computers. IBS CockPit is a comprehensive information system developed with and especially for the transportation industry. It gives complete control over each vehicle's location, freight, costs and revenue. By integrating IBS order module, companies can save both time and money by making the transportation process better coordinated and more reliable. IBS is licensed by Scania and able to both configure and integrate in Scania’s own interface.
IBS will demonstrate the solution at the upcoming fair – Lastbil 2006. The fair takes place the 23-26th of August in Jönköping, Sweden. Lastbil 2006 is a big trade fair and meeting point for the transportation industry. Every second year more than 40 000 truck drivers, enterprises, decision makers and other important players connected to the transportation industry meet and do business, share news and make contacts. Main focus in the IBS display case is IBS CockPit.
