IBS acquires business partner, Bookmaster North America (BMNA)News & Events IBS, International Business Systems, has acquired all assets of Bookmaster, North America (BMNA) related to the IBS, formerly TMS, Bookmaster Software. IBS, with North American HQ in Folsom, California will assume responsibility for the management and oversight of IBS’ Bookmaster customers in North America. In follow-up to IBS’ announcement of the acquisition of Australian software developer, TMS, on March 1, 2005, the addition of BMNA interests in the US further cements IBS’ strategic objective as the leader in book publishing and distribution solutions.
IBS is excited to welcome the employees of BMNA to the IBS team. They will serve as key individuals to assist IBS in maintaining a high level of service to current and future Bookmaster customers.
“IBS is an outstanding organization,” says BMNA’s George Galletti, “and we expect their scale and leadership in the Supply Chain Management space to compliment Bookmaster, North America’s history of providing quality products and services to our customers. Bookmaster existing and new customers should look forward to a long future and a solid partnership with IBS.”
"“We expect that the addition of Bookmaster, North America’s assets and employees to our US organization will create greater synergies within IBS and for Bookmaster customers as IBS leverages it’s international network in 22 countries,” adds IBSUS President Barry Christian. “IBS is committed to the book publishing and distribution industry and we look forward to a much closer, direct ‘partnership’ with Bookmaster customers in North America.”
