IBS announces the delivery of new technical architecture for its collaborative software suite, Virtual Enterprise. The stepwise introduction of software for multiplatform environment is part of the IBS´commitment to IBM open standards.

IBS Virtual Enterprise is a leading-edge solution for companies with supply chain collaboration needs. To maintain and build on this advantage, IBS will continue to developing IBS Virtual Enterprise according to true object-oriented J2EE architecture standards. This enables IBS to consolidate technology standards across its product range and maximise development resources in the future.

During 2005, IBS will introduce new releases of IBS Virtual Enterprise, delivering advanced solutions for collaborative enterprise procurement, sales, supply chain visibility and shared financial services. This will benefit IBS' customers with the cooperation and coordination of these activities across all enterprise operations regardless of structural complexities or IT infrastructures.

IBS Virtual Enterprise for I5/OS As part of its commitment to IBM open standards, IBS has now completed phase one of a two-phase update for IBS Virtual Enterprise, scheduled for completion in 2005.
