August 2004: With customers such as Penguin, Macmillan Publishers, Homedics and Pioneer Electronics based in Melbourne, TMS’ customer base is growing in this region. To enhance customer support, the company recently opened an office which provides local consulting services.
TMS has employed Melbourne-based Phil van der Leeuw as a key contact for its customer base in Victoria. With previous history as a long time user of the TMS software at a TMS customer, Phil van der Leeuw brings with him strong industry experience spanning publishing, consumer electronics, distribution and manufacturing. In addition he has 19 years experience in IT and ERP systems, project managing implementations and providing business IT support.
Mike Irving, TMS’ Sales and Marketing Manager commented, “We’re very pleased to be able to extend our services locally. This will benefit our Melbourne customers by making it easier for them to resolve business challenges while also providing on-the-ground access to an expert who can provide knowledgeable information on the rich functionality offered by the TMS ERP system.”
