Mike Shinya, CEO

Mike Shinya, born 1957 is CEO of IBS since October 2008. Prior to joining IBS he was CEO of Sherwood International Plc., and most recently Chief Operating Officer of Micro Focus International Plc. Prior to these engagements, Mike Shinya was Head of Global Worldwide Sales operations at Baan Company, a Dutch ERP software company, and before that he held senior executive positions at Oracle Corporation and IBM. Shinya is a British national, graduated from the University of East Anglia UK, in Economic & Social Sciences.

Fredrik Sandelin, CFO

Fredrik Sandelin, born 1962, is Chief Financial Officer since March 2010 and part of IBS Group Management. Fredrik joined IBS from A-Com, the largest independent communications services network, where he was CEO since 2002. Previous experiences include Senior Vice President Hilton International Nordic Region, CFO Scandic Hotels and CFO for private equity company Ratos.  Fredrik has a degree corresponding to Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, Stockholm School of Economics 1987.

Andy Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer

Andy Bailey, Chief Marketing Officer

Andy Bailey, born in 1962, joined as the Chief Marketing Officer in June 2009, and is a member of IBS Group Management. As CMO, his role includes global responsibility for all marketing activities within IBS including branding, positioning, product strategy, industry and field marketing. With nearly 25 years in the business-to-business software industry, Andy’s extensive international experience is drawn from a number of senior sales, technical, and of course marketing management positions in software companies including Metastorm, Attunity, i2 technologies, and Oracle Corporation where, during his 12 year tenure, he helped grow the UK and Ireland business from a $4m subsidiary to nearly $1bn. Andy has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc, Eng) in Electronic Engineering from Kings College, London, and is a British national.

Doreena Ross, Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Doreena Ross, Senior Vice President of Human Resources

Doreena Ross, born 1962, is Senior Vice President of Human Resources since December 2008 and part of IBS Group Management. In this role she is responsible for global Human Resources strategy and operations. Doreena is a British national who has lived and worked outside of the UK. She has solid international HR and business experience and prior to joining IBS, she held global and pan-european executive positions with Micro Focus, Opentext, Interwoven, Documentum and Sybase.

Kamal Sharma, VP Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific, and Automotive Business Line

Kamal Sharma, VP Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific, and Bookmaster Business Line

Kamal Sharma, born 1955, is VP for Sales & Marketing for Asia Pacific, as well as the Bookmaster Business Line since 2009 and part of IBS Group Management. Kamal has held senior management appointments in software and technology related companies, internationally, over the last 32 years. He specializes in revenue growth, profitability and brand building in the technology sector and some his previous experience includes: Vice President for IBS’ Offshoring and Global Customer Support function, President for Lawson Software in Asia South, Japan & Korea and Sales Director for Australia & New Zealand, CEO for the Asia-Pacific region and a member of the Executive Board for JBA Holdings, a UK-listed software solutions company, Senior appointments with Canadian business performance software vendor Geac, where Kamal served as Regional Manager for Asia, Head of McDonnell Douglas Information Systems' efforts in the Public sector. Kamal has a B.Sc. degree from an Indian University. Kamal is a New Zealand citizen and has lived in Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand. He understands Asia Pacific region intimately.

Stephen Thornton, Senior Vice President Global Professional Services

Stephen Thornton, born 1956 is the Senior Vice President of Professional Services of IBS since July 2009, and part of IBS Group Management. His role in IBS includes global responsibility for professional services and associated project delivery and customer support. Stephen joined IBS from Lawson Software, where he was most recently Snr. VP of Professional Services EMEA. Prior to this, he was with Intentia AB, where he held a number of senior positions. Stephen has also held a number senior IT Management positions within both manufacturing and service industries. Stephen has significant international experience having worked across both Europe and the Americas. Stephen Thornton is a qualified Accountant.

Mark Cockings, Senior Vice President Strategy and Development

Mark Cockings, Senior Vice President Strategy and Development

Mark Cockings, born 1969, is Senior Vice President Strategy and Development since January 2009 and has been a part of IBS Group Management since 2004. His role in IBS includes responsibility for IBS overall strategy and direction and also heading the product development organization. In addition to being part of the overall Group Management of IBS, he is also on the management team for IBS’ ERP software, IBS Enterprise, together with SVP Professional Services. Cockings joined IBS in 1996 and was during the first years involved in sales support, business consulting and business product management. Previous to his SVP Strategy and Development role, he has held positions as SVP Sales & Marketing, Global Business Development Director, Vice President Global Software and Area President Central Europe. Prior to IBS, Cockings worked for Geebro Ltd within Sales and Operations. Cockings has a Certificate and a Diploma in Professional Management from the Open University, UK and a Certificate of Management Studies from the Institute of Management Studies, UK.

Oskar Ahlberg, Senior Vice President of Communications

Oskar Ahlberg, Senior Vice President of Communications

Oskar Ahlberg, born 1971, is Senior Vice President Corporate Communications since 2008 and part of IBS Group Management. His role in IBS includes Investor Relations, PR and Internal Communication. Oskar first worked for IBS between 1996 and 2000, first as Java developer in a software project in Germany and later as pre-sales consultant in IBS UK. Oskar left IBS to start mobile software company EHAND AB in Sweden, as Sales and Marketing director. Oskar re-joined IBS in 2004 as product manager before advancing to international sales director. Oskar Ahlberg is a co-founder of Protracer AB and member of its Board of Directors. Oskar has a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Royaly Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
