Doug Braun

Doug Braun, Chief Executive Officer

Doug Braun joined as chief executive officer in May of 2012.  Prior to IBS, his responsibilities included translating business needs into products that solve customers’ toughest supply chain problems in various top management roles in global product strategy and development, product management, hosting, and support at RedPrairie.  He led several business lines for key verticals, created the company’s SMB unit and was responsible for RedPrairie’s first SaaS supply chain offering. Braun served as one of four members of the RedPrairie operating committee and led operations in the Americas and EMEA.

During his career, he worked in technical and project management roles at Northwestern National Insurance Company, Viking Insurance Company and Chem-Bio Corporation.  He serves as the board director for the Institute for Human Resources and the Divine Savior Holy Angels High School and previously served as an adjunct professor of mathematics for Mount Mary College.

Braun holds a Masters Degree in International Business and a B.B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Christian Paulsson

Christian Paulsson, COO

Christian Paulsson, born 1975, serves as COO. He has also been a member of the Board of Directors for the company since 2008. Christian was previously Executive Vice President Corporate Development and M&A at IBS AB. Prior to joining IBS he was Managing Director and head of corporate finance of Lage Jonason AB and has also worked within corporate finance in Booz Allen & Hamilton, Alfred Berg Fondkommission AB, ABN Amro and Mangold Fondkommission AB. He holds a BBA from European University.

Fredrik Sandelin

Fredrik Sandelin, CFO and Head of HR

Fredrik Sandelin, born 1962, has been Executive Vice Presiden och Chief Financial Officer since March 2010 and Head of HR since July 2011. Fredrik joined IBS from A-Com, the largest independent communications services network, where he was CEO from 2002. Prior to this, Fredrik held the positions of Senior Vice President for Hilton International Nordic Region, CFO for Scandic Hotels and CFO for private equity company Ratos. Fredrik has a degree corresponding to Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics.

Baxter Nairon

Baxter Nairon, Head of Americas region

Baxter Nairon, born 1959, joined IBS in July 2010 as COO before becoming Head of Americas region in July 2011. Prior to joining IBS, Baxter was a consultant to the Board of Directors and President of Nova Professional Services. He has also been a Senior Vice President with i2 Technologies with experience in business development, executive staff and product development, a Principal with Booz and Company, President of Field Services with Tanknology and Chief Operating Officer of Site Controls.
Stephen Thornton

Stephen Thornton, Head of Global Solution Operation

Stephen Thornton, born 1956, has been Head of the Global Solution Operation since July 2011. This role includes global responsibility for professional services, associated project delivery and customer support. Stephen joined IBS as Senior Vice President Professional Services in July 2009. Prior to this he Senior VP of Professional Services EMEA for Lawson Software as well as senior IT management positions within Intentia AB and other manufacturing and services companies. Stephen is a qualified Accountant.

Mark Illidge

Mark Illidge, Head of Field Operations

Mark Illidge, born 1964, has been Head of Field Operations since July 2011. He formerly held the position of VP of Enterprise Global Operations and Business Development. Mark joined IBS from Lawson Software where he held several roles since 1998, most recently as head of M3 Business Development and Bid Management. Prior to this he was Supply Chain Manager for E.I du Pont de Nemours Printing and Publishing. Mark has a Bachelor of Science higher degree in Mathematics.

Christian Doglia

Christian Doglia, Head of Corporate Development & Legal

Christian Doglia, born 1975, has been Head of Corporate Development and Legal since July 2011. Previously, Christian has been Head of Special Projects and VP of Corporate Development and has overseen a variety of projects, including restructuring, divestment and growth initiatives. Prior to IBS, Christian was one of the Founding Partners of Arcadium Infrastructure SA, held senior positions at Financial Security Assurance UK Ltd and was an insurance broker with Willis Ltd.

Henrik Stache

Henrik Stache, Head of Iptor

Henrik Stache, born 1969, has been Head of Iptor since June 2009. Henrik has had two spells at IBS from 1997 to 1999 and from 2004 to the present. Within the IBS Group he has held the positions of Senior VP of Sales and Marketing and Managing Director of Mapics Solutions AB. Prior to joining IBS, Henrik has held several senior sales and sales management positions within Oracle and IBM Corporation.

David Rode

David Rode

David Rode, a software executive with more than 20 years of experience, has been named executive vice president and general manager of EMEA. Prior to joining IBS, he held leadership roles at software companies including iMANY, Lectra, Intentia and Information Builders, Inc.  He also held global management positions at Safeguard Scientifics, Inc., and Milliken & Company.
Rode holds a B.A. in Economics and Fine Art from Denison University and a M.B.A. with distinction from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Hiten Varia

Hiten Varia

Hiten Varia, an industry veteran known for creating world-class customer focused organizations at top software companies, was named executive vice president and general manager of APAC.  Prior to his role at IBS, Varia spent 17 years in executive leadership at i2 Technologies, now JDA, in leadership positions including executive vice president of global customer operations and chief customer officer; executive vice president of the Greater Asia Pacific Region, executive vice president of worldwide delivery and vice president of worldwide development.  He also held management roles at EDS and Sylvex Cable in India and is chairman and founder of m9 Technology Solutions.

He has a M.S. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Architecture and Software Design, from University of Kentucky, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Baroda, India.

Mike Verdeyen

Mike Verdeyen

Mike Verdeyen joins as Chief Technology Officer where he is responsible for IBS’ strategic technology roadmap and the engineering of its suite of software products.  For the past nine years, Verdeyen held leadership positions at RedPrairie including vice president of product development for retail products and technology; vice president of product development of global platforms and technology; vice president of product development of the enterprise applications group; director of product development for the offshore development center and director of product development for transportation management.  Prior to RedPrairie, he held several management roles at McHugh Software, Software Architects Incorporated, Computer People Unlimited and Digital Equipment Corporation.

Verdeyen received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Melanie Ofenloch

Melanie Ofenloch

Melanie Ofenloch was named Chief Marketing Officer where she is responsible for the overall global strategy and execution of IBS’ strategic marketing program including product marketing, marketing communications, customer support, demand generation and strategic positioning.  Most recently, she was an executive vice president of Weber Shandwick, the world’s largest global communications agency and part of the $7 billion Interpublic Group.  A 20-year marketing and communications veteran, Melanie has led marketing organizations for both private and public companies including serving as vice president of marketing for i2 Technologies and Nanovation Technologies.  She has a strong background in global technology clients including Verizon, Nokia, Sterling Software and Samsung.

Ofenloch received her B.A. in communications from Auburn University.
